A quality and safety specialist with the ability to analyze operations, pinpoint areas for continuous improvement, and redesign and implement plans that generate profitable results. An excellent relationship-builder, successful in forming sustainable relationships and securing consensus among cross-functional teams. He is an effective communicator, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a leader with extensive experience in domestic and international operations, safety and risk management, and equipment design and construction.

An experienced CEO excels in the leadership and implementation of business planning processes while developing strategies to address future challenges; leads major initiatives focused on improved collaboration and internal process improvement and efficiency.
Travis Ottney, Operations Manager
Travis, a Civil Engineering Tech, has over 2 decades of experience in piping design, fabrication, and pressure-boundary design. He has extensive expertise in pressure-boundary piping (ASME Section IX and API 1104) and proven strengths in optimization, quality assurance, and cross-discipline teamwork.
Travis’s background combines hands-on fabrication and oversight, engineering design, structural experience, and strong expertise in quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance. Travis’s goal is to lead bot field and shop operations to continuously improve Hi-Cal’s efficiency while maintaining rigorous standards and delivering reliable and repeatable results to our customers.
